Montgomery Public Schools Reopening Checklist


Here are a few reminders to kick off the 2020-2021 school year. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s school. 
The first day of school is August 10, 2020. 
If you have not already registered your child for school, please do so immediately. New students will use the following link: https://registration.mps.k12.al.us/login
Current students will use: https://update.mps.k12.al.us/login
If you are in need of a technology device, please contact your child’s school for instructions. MPS is only issuing devices based on need at this time. If you have a personal device, please use it until your child is issued an MPS device.

School supplies or other needed items will be listed on your child’s school website. 
Your child’s school will have detailed login instructions for the first day of school placed on the homepage of the school’s website by Friday, August 7, 2020. 
If you have not received your child’s login or other school information, please call or email your child’s school immediately. 
Meal pickup information can be found on your child’s school website. 
For the first week of school, all MPS students will be dismissed at 12 pm. 
Parents, please make sure your child’s school has your updated contact information. This includes phone numbers, emails, addresses, and emergency contact information.
